One Newton woman has entered a plea to felony theft charges in Knoxville while another awaits her day in court.
37-year-old Lisa Elaine Versendaal and 36-year-old April Ann Wilcox have both been charged with 2nd degree theft, a Class D felony. Wilcox has also been charged with 3rd and 4th degree theft for two other incidents.
According to court documents, on June 14th, the two were seen at Walmart in Knoxville stuffing nearly $1300 worth of merchandise into storage containers, then walking out of the store.
Versendaal waived her right to an arraignment and pled not guilty while Wilcox is scheduled to be arraigned today.
