Construction Site Upstream in June

An Independent Expert Peer Review Panel (IEPR) report recently praised the engineers, contractors, and Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) for their work at the Lake Red Rock Hydroelectric Project site.

The report followed an onsite review that took place from June 20th to July 1st. The IEPR conducted a Safety Assurance Review (SAR), a requirement of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Civil Works Review Policy, that aims to ensure good science, sound engineering and public health, safety, and welfare are the most important factors in the implementation of the project. In the report, the Panel said it was pleased to see the staff’s continuing attention to detail. This was the IEPR’s second onsite review since construction of the project began.
