The Pella City Council will look to approve a contract for reconstruction of Jefferson Street near Pella Regional Health Center at their meeting tonight.

The project to replace the road, water main, and sewer will cost roughly $430,000. They will also hold the first reading of an ordinance that would allow for bigger menu signs in the city for drive-thru restaurants. The council will then have the second hearing of an ordinance increasing water rates in conjunction with the city’s water improvement plan. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Pella Public Safety Complex on Liberty Street.
