The Pleasantville Trojans will move on to play in the Substate 6 championship tonight after winning district 12 on Saturday night in a 2-1 thriller over the Sabers of Twin Cedars.
Pleasantville Head Coach Sheldon Card said going forward it doesnt matter who they play as long as they play their game

“Game plan wise we just have to play our style of baseball, pitching and defense and hopefully some timely hits here and there” Card told KNIA/KRLS Sports.

The red hot 32-3 Trojans, who haven’t lost since June 6th, will run into the District 11 champion B-G-M. The Bears sport a 22-9 record and a 10 game winning streak, and they cleaned up District 11 winning all three of their games handily including a 12-3 decimation of Iowa Valley in the District final. Pleasantville and B-G-M will meet tonight at 7pm in Pella to determine who will move on to play at Principal Park in the state tournament.
