In their first postseason game of 2015, the Pleasantville Softball team let the bats carry them as they defeated Grand View Christian last night 11-1 in six innings. After going through some stretches of the season where the runs wouldn’t find a way to cross home plate the offense exploded for 14 hits, with Trisha Kunze and Corinne Thomas each picking up three. The Trojans move on in regional play as they travel to Martensdale-St Mary’s tonight, a team they have lost to twice already this season however both were one run games. The Pleasantville Baseball team continues its incredible streak as they bring their winning streak to 20 games with a win at home against Nodaway Valley 8 to 1. Josh Luna got the start for the Trojans and dispatched the Wolverine offense easily picking up 15 strikeouts along the way. The win brings the Pleasantville record to 27-3, and they travel to Southeast Warren tonight.
