Much like a repeat from last year, the Pella Christian baseball team unfortunately saw their season come to an end to Albia in the postseason on Tuesday night. With it, the Eagles had to say “ta-ta” to a talented tandem that graduated a few months ago. Dillon Bruxvoort and Jason Holwerda were two young men who helped lead the program when Coach Nate Johnson came aboard for the 2013 season. With the youth and experience to look forward to for 2016, Coach Johnson still says that there will be two big holes to fill when spring practice comes around. PC finished with a 14 – 19 record, and there will again be a small graduating class next season, as there are only three juniors on their current roster.
