The theme for this week’s Thursdays in Pella is “Hip to Be Square.”

Sarah Treft with the Pella Chamber of Commerce says that activities and events will center around things that are square. She says there will be Lego League, giant Jenga, checkers, and square dancing, among other activities. The Miss Little Firecracker and Captain America contests will begin at 5:30 p.m., with registration limited to the first twenty children in each category. The KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio will be on hand and broadcasting from the event.
