Twin Cedars baseball and softball each picked up easy wins on Wednesday night. The Saber baseball team prevailed 11 – 0 in five innings. Spencer McCarty got the win on the mound, allowing just five hits and striking out two. Trace Embray doubled and scored three runs, Otis Roby had two hits, including a triple, and Dakota Pinegar singled and stole two bases. The girls wound up on top after just three frames, 14 – 0 over Diagonal. Jensen Hastings gave up only one hit and one walk, while Shyann and Shelby DenBurger each had two hits. Saber baseball improves to 14 – 6, the girls are now 9 – 10. Both teams host Murray for a conference game later this evening.
