With the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup wrapping up on Sunday between the United States and Japan, there will be many eyes glued to the televisions to see if the Americans can redeem themselves after 2011’s disappointment. A couple of local coaches will also be watching. Head soccer coaches at Central, Garry Laidlaw and Mike Kobylinski, will both have somewhat of a vested interest in the proceedings tomorrow night. Coach Laidlaw says the past few weeks of the tournament have given him a chance to wear a few different hats. Both the Dutch men’s and women’s soccer teams open up the 2015 season on September 1 at home against Nebraska Wesleyan.
