Out of sight and out of mind, mostly. The memories of what was a magical 2014 Pella High football season will always be with the community of the Tulip City and the players and coaches of that undefeated team. One week of practice and camps gone by, the returners and the newcomers for this year’s squad are focused on a repeat. Coach Jay McKinstrey says there’s always time to look back on what happened last fall, but the coaching staff and the athletes warming up on the gridiron are trying to create their own legacy in 2015. Over 20 seniors adorn the Little Dutch roster, and appear to be very deep at the wide receiver position, in addition to having quarterback Noah Clayberg and speedster Nathan Henry in the backfield. Pella’s first game of the season is less than two weeks away when they host Washington on August 28.
