Three Knoxville Baseball Players earned class three-A All-District from the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association. On the first team were Tony Salato and Kevin Woodhouse. Salato had a 525 batting average and led the team with 50 strikeouts playing mostly a reliever role this season. Woodhouse also carried a big bat to the plate hitting 529 and earned six wins on the mound. Making second team was Jake Kendall. He went 6-0 this season as a starter with a 1.57 E-R-A. Kendall also hit well with a 360 batting average.
