A Mass of Christian Burial for Beverly Heloise Smith, age 87 of Pleasantville, will be held on Friday, August 21st at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Melcher-Dallas. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 12:00 p.m. Thursday at the Mason Funeral Home, in Pleasantville, where a Wake Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Mercy Hospice of Des Moines.
