Teaming up with Global Football, Ohio Northern University, and five Ohio high schools, Central’s football program donated equipment to Serbia to help promote the American game of football. The project provides the equipment necessary to continue the growth of the game in Serbia. The donated items include 34 helmets, 160 sets of shoulder pads, 91 pairs of game pants, 70 pairs of thigh pads, 20 pairs of knee pads, 30 jaw pads, 16 neck rolls, 12 jerseys, three footballs, a hand shield and a clipboard. The Air National Guard helped out by flying the cargo overseas on Saturday to the Serbian Ministry of Youth and Sports.
