It was no secret that after a grueling 14-game high school football season where his team went undefeated and captured their first ever state championship in the sport, Pella High QB Noah Clayberg was in a bit of pain after the adrenaline wore off from an exhilarating run.

The now-senior was unable to play basketball and soccer, and spent most of his time in a boot trying to rehabilitate a foot injury. The cast is off, the physical therapy has gone well, and Coach Jay McKinstrey says that adrenaline is starting to take effect in the early stages of preparation for next Friday. Clayberg and a talented Dutch squad begin the season in just nine days at home against Washington. The game will be broadcast live on KNIAKRLS.com.
