A big factor that helped make the decision for Central volleyball coach, Kent Clayberg, easy to try to implement a new, dynamic offense a few seasons back was because of what his gals had working upstairs. The Dutch have won the team academic award for the 15th straight year back in late July, which requires a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.30. It’s the most consecutive years any team in Division III athletics has been honored with the achievement. Clayberg says while there is a lot going on for any college student, his Dutch are still able to stay focused on the vital happenings that are in front of them. Central will debut at home after the weekend this Tuesday against Monmouth.
