Pella High’s baseball team put an end to two miserable droughts in the 2015 season. They captured their first ever Little Hawkeye Conference regular season title with an impressive 15 – 3 mark in their league games. They also ended a nearly 20-year absence from the state tournament stage by making it all the way to the Class 3A semifinals. While some coaches put a lot of emphasis on one over the other, Coach Jesse Jablonski says both are equally as impressive in his eyes. Pella’s final overall record in 2015 was 34 – 5.
