With a dynamic new offense now into its third year of being in place, the Central volleyball team, with their returners and incoming freshmen alike, look to cause a ruckus for their opponents this fall. One position that the Dutch will be looking at to get up to speed a bit quicker than others is their setter. Virtually every setter that had experience in that spot is gone and graduated, so some fresh faces will be put to the task of turning the gears and getting themselves ready to go come game one next month. Coach Kent Clayberg says it’s up to whoever is in that position to be practically the navigator for their season. Clayberg adds the Iowa Conference will be strong once again, though nearly everyone lost some key players. He says Central’s name is right there in the conversation for being at the top of the heap.
