The Pella Christian football team is feeling good heading into the 2015 campaign following their scrimmage against Knoxville Friday night.

Eagles Senior Lineman Peyton Reimer says despite Knoxville’s size up front, he felt they came out and had a solid showing on offense.

“We moved the ball well, there are some things we need to work on–we didn’t finish very well,” Reimer says. “But other than that, I think we really moved the ball well, and worked as a team.”

Senior D-Lineman Blaze Walz compared their performance to how they played the Panthers last season, and says many of the returning players have come a long way in the past year.

“We did a lot better on defense than we did last year, we didn’t let them score and last year it was about even,” Walz says.

Pella Christian kicks off the season Friday when they host PCM.
