Pella Christian makes the drive up north to visit the volleyball confines of Marshalltown tonight to begin the 2015 season. The Eagles were a 24 – 12 team last year, and bring quite a bit of experience back to the courts this fall. With not many chinks in the armor, Coach Cindy Nikkel says the key to her team’s success and how high her Eagles can fly is all based on their consistency. The Bobcats were 21 – 14 last season and lost five seniors. Their stats were similar to PC’s, but have the edge in serving, with a majority of those players back on their 2015 roster. JV and 9th-grade matches are slated to begin at 5:45 p.m. with the varsity contest scheduled for 7:30.
