What makes what the Pella High softball squad was able to accomplish in 2015 much more exciting is the fact that almost the entire team will be back next season to give it another run. McKenna Rozenberg is the only 12th-grader that saw significant playing time for the Lady Dutch, and back to don the green and white in 2016 will be All-State athlete, Sara Tallman, along with Elyse Sadler, and a total of six seniors-to-be. Coach Krista DeMeuelenaere, though she won’t be there to coach them, says even more thrilling are the eighth graders and freshmen that will be rising the ranks over the next 3-4 years for Pella High. Nearly half of the roster featured underclassmen for Coach DeMeuelenaere and a team that finished in fourth place in the state in Class 4A.
