Coming down the home stretch of the 2015 baseball season, Pella Christian was in line to make a run at being .500 entering the playoffs. Sitting with a 13 – 15 mark, the Eagles had just rattled off five straight wins and eight of their previous 11 going into a critical doubleheader with Dallas Center – Grimes. Unfortunately, PC dropped both contests and fell to PCM to close out the regular year with a 13 – 18 record. With the talent they have coming back next season, Coach Nate Johnson hopes their fortunes will be reversed because of the experience gained and the fight his players showed. Pella Christian lost to Albia in the district semifinals and lost two seniors to graduation.
