While young, the Knoxville Girls Cross Country Squad will be experienced. The Panthers had several freshmen and sophomores run varsity last season and with only one senior on the squad this season coach Michael Splavic tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he is looking to his only senior to give his team some leadership. He adds Lucy Olson has worked hard over the summer especially in the conditioning side. Both Knoxville boys and girls get their seasons started Monday hosting an early-bird quad at Pine Knolls Golf Course.
