The PCM Volleyball team got off to slow start on Tuesday night, as they opened the season on the road in the Dallas Center-Grimes Invitational. The Lady Mustangs fell to Algona, 21-10 and 21-9 and in their second match of the tournament, they lost to Nodaway Valley, 21-9 and 21-12. PCM lost their third match to a strong Southeast Polk team, 21-8 and 21-8. In their final match of the day, PCM battled Des Moines Roosevelt, losing set one 21-18, taking set two 21-17 and then lost the final set 15-8. The Lady Mustangs are 0-4 to start the season and look to bounce back on Saturday at the Bondurant-Farrar tournament.
