The Pella Opera House is preparing for its annual kick-off event.

The 2015-16 season opening party is set for Thursday, August 20th at 6 p.m. Opera House Executive Director Kevin McQuade says they will preview many of the performances coming up in their 25th year since reopening. He says there will be free appetizers, Peace Tree samples, door prizes, and a cash bar. Those who would like to attend should RSVP to the Opera House by August 18th.
