“Try or Train” and “Focus” have been the mantras of the past few Pella High cross country seasons. The year 2015 will be the year of “Perfect Effort” for the Little and Lady Dutch. Though Coach Doug Cutler was happy with his choice for this year’s theme, he says he had to convince someone very close to him to feel the same way he did. Numbers are a little down this year for the Dutch runners, but Coach Cutler says he’s looking forward to having more one-on-one time with his athletes over the course of this season.
