The 2015 Pleasantville Baseball team had a pair of players in Zeb Adreon and Josh Luna that many would call the stars of the squad. The pair of all conference players did handle quite a bit of the workload both on the mound and at the plate, but the Trojans made it all the way to the state championship game with a complete team effort. Unsung heroes such as senior Trevor Zoss, who didn’t even play baseball for his sophomore and junior campaigns tried out for the team and won the third base job. Another couple of contributors this season were speedsters Brock Busick and Kirk Wicks who held down center field and left field respectively with a 92% fielding percentage. And most of all, Senior Cassin Garr, who Trojans’ Head Coach Sheldon Card said he simply cannot say enough about. While the two standouts in Adreon and Luna did have a lot of impact on the Trojans’ season, it was by no means a two-man show.
