Donny Schatz week at Knoxville Raceway can be described in one word: domination.

Schatz started from the pole, after having the only qualifying time under 15 seconds, and led all 50 laps to again win the A-Main of the 55th Annual FVP Knoxville Nationals Saturday night. Aussie Kerry Madsen finished second while Brad Sweet took third.

It’s Schatz’s 9th Knoxville Nationals win in the last 10 races and his fifth in a row, tying him with Steve Kinser for the most consecutive Nationals victories.
