It could not have started any better for the Knoxville Football Squad as the Panthers got on top of Carlisle 14-0 on two quick touchdowns in the first quarter. Then, Carlisle outscored the Panthers 35-to-nothing and thoroughly dominated the Panthers the last three quarters to win 35-14. The Panthers were stifled in the second half and Carlisle played ball control while holding the Panthers to just four first downs in the second half. Coach Eric Kellar told KNIA/KRLS the Panthers lost their intensity after the first quarter. Connor Bailey lead the Panthers on the ground with 137 yards on 15 carries. Knoxville falls to 3-1 on the season and 0-1 in the district. The Panthers host Pella next week.
