Suffering a rough loss to Benedictine last weekend, Central football hopes to turn the tables and grab their first win of 2015 when they head east across the state border to play Monmouth this afternoon. The Dutch gave up touchdowns on several third-and-long situations last week, and also missed an extra point and a chip-shot field goal, and failed on a two-point conversion late in the game. Coach Jeff McMartin feels that his Dutch have made a lot of strides over the past week. Today’s game in Illinois will be live on 92.1 KRLS, streamed live on KNIAKRLS.com, and can be accessed via our free mobile app. Cory Houser and Andrew Schneider will step in and take the play-by-play duties. Pre-game is set for 12:35 p.m. with kickoff at 1:00.
