Central’s men’s soccer team took their lumps on Sunday, getting thumped 6 – 0 by Wisconsin-Oshkosh. It was the fourth road game in two weeks for the Dutch, and their wear showed yesterday, allowing four second-half goals in the loss. Also playing yet another away contest, Central’s women were edged by the same foe, 2 – 1. Kayla Sunvold temporarily tied the game at one in the 50’, but two minutes later, Oshkosh put in the game-winner from ten yards out. The Dutch women are now 4 – 3, the men stand at 3 – 5, and they’ll each come home for one final non-conference meet-up when Monmouth heads to town this Wednesday.
