It’s been a pretty abysmal last two games for the Pella Christian football team, but they’ll have a chance to not their first district “W” of the year tonight when they travel to face Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont. The Eagles have given up 114 points and 919 yards rushing combined in their losses to Albia and Sigourney-Keota over the previous two weeks. PC has been hobbled with injuries, with the big one being to their junior playmaking quarterback, David Kacmarynski, who has been limited in movement since facing a physical Blue Demons team in Week Three. Kacmarynski is still not at 100% entering tonight, but his father, Coach Rich Kacmarynski, remains confident his team can stifle the Rockets. E-B-F is 1 – 3 this season, with most of their damage coming from their running back, Treg Van Dorin, who has been given the ball 137 times for 534 yards on the ground. Tonight’s district match can be heard live on KNIAKRLS.com and via our free mobile app, with Cory Houser and Larry Hessing on the call. Pre-game coverage will start at 6:30 p.m. with kick-off at 7:00. There will be a delayed broadcast on 92.1 KRLS immediately following the Stravers Cellular Football Friday Night Radio Scoreboard Show.
