Racing in the small schools division, the Pella Christian cross country teams fought hard amongst some tough competition at Saturday’s Dutch Invitational at Central. The Eagle boys were fourth overall with 79 points, just two points out of third place, which was occupied by C-M-B. Davi Simoes was fifth overall for the Eagles, with a time of 19:12. Nathan VerMeer was 13th overall and second best for PC, clocking in at 20:36. Pella Christian had only one girl running for them, so they didn’t have a team score. Grace Bokhoven finished 25th with a time of 28:10. A full list of results for both teams is below. The Eagles will race next on Thursday at Johnston.
