The Pella Christian football team will bring lessons learned from their week two match up when they host Albia Friday night. The No. 3 ranked Eagles gave up 148 yards against run-heavy Lynnville Sully, but were able to limit the Hawks to 3.3 yards per carry. Head Coach Rich Kacmarynski says they were able to contain the ground game for the most part in the first half of the game as well, but will have to clean up a few things before this Friday’s showdown. “Albia is a run heavy team, and they have a very good runner in Isley,” Kacmarynski says. “I think we’ll have to get off ball and tackle.” He says his guys will be focused on slowing down Albia’s Carter Isley, whose racked up 5.5 yards per carry and five scores in the Blue Demons’ first two contests. Our coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday on 92.1 KRLS with the Midtown Tire Team Radio Pregame show.
