The Knoxville Football Squad starts district play tonight at Carlisle. The Panthers completed non-district play last week by dispatching Fairfield 43-26 in a game that saw the Panthers commit five turnovers in the first half, but still hold a three-point lead at the break. Last season…Knoxville ran for 372 yards and still lost by a significant margin to the Wildcats. Coach Eric Kellar tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his offense is better than last year, but they cannot give the ball away like last week. Possessions may be a premium tonight as both teams will run the ball, so every possession will matter a little more knowing both teams will want to play ball control is they can. You can hear the call on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA and streamed live at kniakrls.com with Derek Cardwell and Ryan Rump starting with the pre-game show at seven, and kick off at 7:30.
