The PCM boy’s and girl’s cross country teams have not competed in two weeks since they opened the season on August 27 at the Iowa State University Cross Country Course. It was a good opening meet to the season that saw a lot of good competition and some larger schools competing in the meet. The girl’s were led by junior Jayci Vos as she finished sixth overall and freshman Payton Schut finished 12th. The boy’s were led by junior Chris Ellens, who finished 13th overall. The ground work looks to have been laid for both teams who look to make it another strong outing this evening at Johnston.
