The No. 3 Pella Christian football team will look to keep their week one momentum going against another rival in non-district action tonight.

Lynnville-Sully will host the Eagles in a matchup of undefeated teams coming off of lopsided victories. Pella Christian Head Coach Rich Kacmarynski says they will have to slow down Hawks Senior Running Back Sage Ehresman, who scored five times in Lynnville-Sully’s 53-6 victory over Van Buren last week.

“They’ve got a strong back in the Ehresman kid,” Kacmarynski says. “We expect to see a healthy dose of him and we’ve got to stop him.”

Pella Christian will hope to build off of an offensive performance against PCM that saw David Kacmarynski and Levi Jungling connect through the air for five touchdowns.

Our coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. with the Midtown Tire Team Radio Pregame Show, with Andrew Schneider and Larry Hessing on the call on KRLS2 at kniakrls.com.
