Well before the rain and storms entered the area yesterday, both PCM and Pella Christian’s cross country teams came away with decent results at the Johnston invite. The Eagles’ girls were third, scoring 105 points. Freshman Lindsay Breon was first across the line for the Eagles, with a time of 22:18, good for 14th overall. Nipping at her heels, teammate Andrea Carballo finished five seconds later to take 15th place. The PCM girls were fifth as a team, with 115 points. Jayci Vos came in 12th place, at 22:03. Pella Christian’s boys were fourth with 119 team points. Grant Dunsbergen finished in the top five with a time of 17:14, which landed him fourth. Nathan VerMeer crossed 11th in a time of 18:01. The Mustangs’ boys were sixth, and were led by Chris Ellens at 17:46. Full results can be found by clicking below.
