It may sound silly after they beat down their first two opponents to begin the 2015 season, but the Pella High football team is still moving puzzle pieces around, looking for the offensive consistency they saw during the school’s title run last year. The Little Dutch have outscored Washington and Dallas Center – Grimes by a combined 79 – 31. Coach Jay McKinstrey says the coaching staff isn’t necessarily worried about the offense, because, as we may or may not have witnessed last year, it took a few weeks for the team to find their rhythm. Carlisle is a Week Six opponent again for the Dutch, but they are currently focused on Oskaloosa for Week Three, who has scored just nine points in getting off to an 0 – 2 start.
