No rushing TDs? No problem! Pella High scored 37 unanswered points following a Dallas Center – Grimes touchdown and kick-off fumble recovery to beat down the No. 2-Mustangs, 37 – 7 last night, in a game that was live on 92.1 KRLS. D-C-G quarterback, Austin Kloewer, was forced out of the pocket and threw an interception, which was brought back to the house by Avery Van Zee, and from that point, all of the momentum was on the side of the Little Dutch. Coach Jay McKinstrey breathed a sigh of relief after the game, saying the interception was the perfect response to the early D-C-G attack. Pella gained 397 yards of total offense; Noah Clayberg threw for 88 yards and two touchdowns, and Nick Finney contributed 89 yards through the air and also a pair of scores. Noah also ran 20 times for a buck 17. The now 2 – 0 Pella High Dutch begin district play next Friday night at home against Oskaloosa.
