The Pella Public Library is featuring new interactive technology.

Assistant Library Director Chris Brown says a 42-inch, children’s digital touch table has been installed and is ready to use.

“It is a multi-touch platform, so multiple children can play on it at the same time, and it’s designed to reinforce the concepts of early learning and early literacy,” Brown says.

“We’ve got a variety of apps that teach children about letters, how to read, math, science, and things like that.”

He says the purchase was made from funds provided in a Marion County Community Foundation special 10th anniversary grant.
