An over hour long road trip for the Pleasantville Volleyball team did not do any favors for the Trojans last night as they fell to the Eagles of East Union in three straight games 14-25, 10-25, and 15-25.

The Trojans were looking to build upon a strong showing in their opening match of the season falling to Chariton in five games 3-2, but the Eagles proved to be too strong. With the loss, the Trojans move to 0-2 on the season and it was certainly not the start they were hoping for on the season, last season the Trojans started off the season hot winning eight of their first nine games. Despite the slow start, there is a strong opportunity to turn their early season struggles around when the Trojans compete in a tournament this Saturday at Coon Rapids-Bayard High School.
