Knoxville boys and girls cross country squads were able to finish runner up at the Albia Invitational yesterday. Cade McNeill led the boys with a fourth place overall finish and Chase Larson was right behind in fifth with Jack McDonald placing 11th overall. On the girls side Mickayla McGill led the Panthers with an eighth place finish. Cassidy Pearson, Sydney Washington, and Lucy Olson all placed in the top 20. Coach Michael Splavec tells KNIA/KRLS be is beyond happy with how everyone ran. He adds the boys are starting to develop into a core of top eight runners that are starting to gain traction. Knoxville will be in action Thursday at P-C-M.
