The newly-resurfaced courts at Central College had the Dutch bounce to them, as the women’s team swept their triangular over Monmouth and Knox Colleges, 8 – 1 and 9 – 0, respectively. Angie Allgood went 4 – 0 on the day, partnering with Megan Davis for a sweep in doubles. The Dutch go to Storm Lake this Tuesday for the Iowa Conference opener. Central’s volleyball team also swept to win their fourth straight to open the season, defeating Northland up in Wisconsin in straight sets, 25 – 13, 25 – 9, and 25 – 22. Dutch volleyball comes back home this Wednesday for a match against Iowa Wesleyan.
