Following some impressive running, the Pella High cross country teams, and Grant Dunsbergen from Pella Christian, will compete at the state meet in Fort Dodge today. The Little and Lady Dutch each won their state qualifying meet last Thursday, and will carry that momentum with them into a stacked Class 3A race. Adam Sievers had the overall top time at the Gilbert site, and he and the rest of the Pella boys look to hold of Grinnell, Dallas Center – Grimes, Mount Pleasant, and Mount Vernon later this morning. It’s the 11th straight trip to Fort Dodge for Pella. Eagles’ junior, Grant Dunsbergen, was tenth overall at Ankeny Centennial, and is the lone PC runner competing at state in Class 1A. The starting pistol will fire for the meet at high noon.
