The PCM girl’s basketball team had a good run during the 2014-15 season which saw their season come to an end against number one ranked Mediapolis in the class 3A regional final. Rachel Freland and Courtney VanHouweling were each four year starters and over 1,000 point scores during their careers at PCM but graduated this past May. The Lady Mustangs will have to look for new players to emerge throughout the season and become a dominant scorer. The Lady Mustangs will return a good amount of experience from last year including starters Kayla Jennings and Katie VandeWall and junior Jayci Vos who will run the point guard for PCM who open their season this Saturday on the road in a non conference matchup against Knoxville with tipoff at 6:30 p.m.
