The Twin Cedars Softball Squad had little issues with Lamoni on Friday night as the class 1A 12th ranked Sabers turned back the Demons 15-0. Grace Bailey was perfect in the five inning game striking out six batters. She also had a good night at the plate going 3/4 and two RBI. The Sabers will host Albia on Monday. The baseball Sabers nearly pulled off the upset of the Bluegrass Conference leaders. Lamoni plated two runs in the second inning, but Twin Cedars responded with a run in the fourth but could not get the tying run across in the seventh. The baseball squad will also host Albia on Monday.
