The building that housed Prudential First Real Estate on the east side of the Knoxville square came down Friday.

The building was connected to a county building to the north that was structurally compromised. The county intends to build a new two-story building in the place of the two. Discussion on a floor plan for the new building and who exactly will occupy it is expected soon.
