Eleven non-conference games behind them, both of the Central basketball teams begin the league season on the road at Luther tonight.

The women will be in for a test; the Norse are receiving votes in the Top 25 Division III poll, and feature a balanced attack. Moran Lonning and Kylie Romeo combine for 22 points per game, and five others average at least five more per contest. They give the ball away roughly 13 times per game and grab 40 rebounds each time out. Meanwhile, the Norse men have just one win this year, but have played in many close contests. Coach Craig Douma calls it a dangerous game. The women tip-off tonight at 6:00 p.m. with the men to follow at around 8:00.
