The Knoxville High School Hall of Fame Class of 2016 will be inducted this Friday. The public is invited to the luncheon at the Sprint Car Hall of Fame at noon to meet and hear from all of the inductees including Jason Messamaker, Barry Reynolds, and the 1973 state runner-up cross country team. Hall of Fame committee member Joe Cunningham tells KNIA/KRLS Sports this event has become somewhat of a winter homecoming when alumni comes back to catch up and old times and help induct the newest members of the Hall of Fame. You can purchase tickets at Iowa State Savings Bank for $15 for person. You will need to get the tickets in advance, because no tickets will be sold at the door.
