Following their first win of the season and first win in nearly two years, the Melcher-Dallas Boys Basketball Squad looks to start a winning streak tonight. But to do that the Saints will have to pull the upset over arguably one of the best teams in class 1A, Ankeny Christian. The Eagles have lost just once this season and that was to fellow Bluegrass Conference team Grandview Christian. Coach Jim Wells tells KNIA/KRLS Ankeny Christian is the real deal. The girls also will be in action against the Eagles. Coach John Suntken tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the third quarter in Friday’s loss to Moulton-Udell was where the game was lost when his team failed to score in that quarter. He says the girls just need to run the offense and take better shots to have a chance tonight.
